Join Homewood Recycling's Hop Reuse Hub team for a fun, 2 part Lunch & Learn series this spring. We will teach you how to use plastic bags to make a reusable produce bag!
This is a two-part event. During the first lunchtime event on 3/26, we taught attendees how to use disposable plastic bags to make plarn (aka plastic yarn)! During the second lunchtime event on 4/16, we will teach you how to use the plarn to make a reusable produce bag.
- To participate in these events, all you need is 4-6 disposable plastic bags (any color), and a pair of scissors.
- If you registered for the first event, you do not need to register for the 4/16 event; you should have received a calendar invite via email.
- If you did not attend the 3/26 event, but wish to learn how to use plarn to make a reusable produce net bag, register for the 4/16 event via this form. All event registrants will receive the recording from the first event so they can make plarn before the event on 4/16.
During both events we will also chat about the importance of reduction and reuse as well as the Baltimore City plastic bag ban and extended producer responsibility (EPR).
