Dr. Chida indicated in her introduction that it is not an antiviral but that she would discuss its role in this section as its not clear if and how it works in this scenario

In plasma convalescence therapy, pls comment if there is no facilities to asses the titre of IgG SARS CoV-2 in donor quantitatively. but only qualitatively. Is it acceptable?
Thomas Quinn
51:33
It would be useful to at least try to titer the IgG antibody by serial dilutions if possible on an EIA, but there is little data as to how high the titer should be. Will ask Dr. Chida

If a facility can't do Plasma isolation can you do a standard blood transfusion as a possible convalescence therapy?

Is there any indication that certain immunomodulators (e.g., checkpoint inhibitors in cancer care, G-CSF) could elevate the risk of infection or severity of disease (incl. CK storm)?

It's possible that patients that are already suppressed may have high enough levels of ARVs in their blood to have some effect on the SARS-cov-2 virus as opposed to trying to start people on therapy when they present with Covid?
Hayet Abbassi

About the antibody detection and or quantification, how can we discriminate between a specific detection for COVID19 versus detection of any Coronavirus like previous exposure to SARS, MERS and other strains?
