Green Chemistry Webinar
Green Toxicology was launched in 2013 at Johns Hopkins University in an inaugural meeting organized by the Center for Alternatives to Animal testing. Much has changed in the landscape since then - computational tools have increased in power, accuracy, and acceptance. TSCA 21 has changed how new chemicals are assessed for hazard, and the European Union has officially committed to a Green New Deal. Last but not least, the field of Green Toxicology now has its own textbook. In this session, we'll discuss the role of green toxicology in the green chemistry ecosystem and within the broader goal of sustainability.
